Matching Staff Solutions are seeking an Asset Support Officer based in Exeter

1. Provide a front- line service to Council tenants, leaseholders and members of the public for the Planned Works Team and Reactive Repairs Team
2. To provide a range of technical and administrative support services for the Planned Works and Reactive Repairs teams
3. Make a positive contribution to the Housing Assets Team , delivering a high quality tenancy service , working within a positive ‘can do’ culture
4. Process invoices in conjunction with the Performance and Resources Officers

1. Manage customer enquiries through a range of channels in a courteous and responsive manner
2. Deliver a high quality Repairs/Planned works appointment booking system to tenants and leaseholders
3. Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members , other housing teams and contractors to ensure awareness and compliance with our expectations regarding working practices
4. Input, update and maintain all manual and electronic records in an accurate and timely manner
5. Carry out all clerical duties associated with the receipt, ordering and processing of all housing responsive and planned works to contractors
6. Deliver specified outcomes within agreed timescales requested by the Planned / Reactive Repairs Lead
7. Display a comprehensive understanding of “what matters” to customers and the Council and that services are delivered effectively and proportionately within this framework
8. Bring to the attention of the Planned / Re-active Repairs Lead any complaints and reports of incidents to ensure that all appropriate actions are followed-up
9. Assist with the regular collection of data to inform service delivery and performance management
10. Keep records of all customer satisfaction cards returned by tenants
11. Consistently deliver high levels of customer service (internally and externally)
12. Contribute to continual service improvement in line with available resources
13. Support the work of the Performance Scrutiny Partnership in scrutinising the work of the Housing Service and encourage the involvement from a cross-section of residents

1. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
2. Communicate clearly and effectively to customers, colleagues and contractors
3. Assist the Housing Asset Lead in contributing to the development of the Council’s online and social media presences to aid communication and conduct customer transactions
4. Must have 5 GCSE at A-C or equivalent
